The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Baha Ibraheem Ansaf, attended the memorial ceremony organized by the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad in honor of the late faculty members Dr. Abdul Samad Qasim Al-Sarraj and Prof.Ghassan Louay. The event was also attended by the Dean of the College and several faculty members and staff.
The memorial ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha for the souls of the deceased and the reading of the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the College administration.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the souls of the departed, who left a lasting and positive impact on their families and colleagues. Attendees asked Allah the Almighty to grant them His vast mercy and to provide patience and solace to their loved ones.
