The Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. (Sabah Qasim Khalaf), received representatives of Ferdowsi University, namely Prof. Dr. (Amir Rashid Amiri), Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the university, and Prof. Dr. (Muhammad Musafir), Public Relations Officer at the university.
The meeting aimed to discuss opening the horizons of cooperation between Ferdowsi University and the University of Baghdad through the exchange of experiences in the fields of physical education and sports sciences, after which a field tour was conducted to see the corridors of the college from classrooms, laboratories and playgrounds, and to see the museum and library of the college, as well as an explanatory video presentation about Ferdowsi University by the visiting delegation and its teaching staff, the preparation of its students, research published in international journals and how to publish in them.
At the end of the visit, a research lecture was listened to in English entitled “The Underworld in Mesopotamia” delivered by Ms. Ansam Ya’rub, the lecture included a summary of research on the underworld in Mesopotamia according to ancient mythology.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the College for the good reception and hospitality.
