The seminar showed the growing migration rates by presenting the number of immigrants from 1970 to 2019 and the percentages of those statistics.
The seminar recommended the need to raise awareness of the issue of illegal immigration among young people in society and pay attention to development, job creation, and resource mobilization. It also recommended international cooperation in the areas of providing awareness-raising programs, training, cooperation, and judicial tracking of smugglers, as well as exposing all practices and allegations that encourage migration and those who work, trade, or encourage it.
The seminar stressed the need to activate state institutions in the media, cultural and civil society institutions to combat and reduce the phenomenon of illegal immigration, open areas for investing in youth qualifications, motivate young people to participate in political life, and also adopt the necessary and effective plans to stimulate education, programs, and activities.
