Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, the President of the University of Baghdad, visited the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad to monitor the progress of final examinations for postgraduate students for the academic year 2023-2024. He was received by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof.Dr. Ghassan Hameed Abdul-Majeed, and the Scientific Assistant of the College of Engineering, Prof.Dr. Dhyia Jasim.
During the visit, Prof.Dr. Bahaa, inspected the examination process for postgraduate students, conducting a tour of the examination halls. He inquired about the nature of the questions, their alignment with the students’ levels, the allotted time, and their coverage of the curriculum. Additionally, he ensured the provision of all necessary resources to create suitable examination conditions for the students.
As part of the visit, the President of the University was briefed on the infrastructure of the Electrical Engineering Department, where he was received by the head of the department, Prof.Dr. Faras Mohammad Ta’ima. The chairperson provided an explanation of the advancements within the department, including the implementation of smart classrooms. He expressed appreciation for the efforts invested in enhancing the university’s infrastructure and delivering services to the students. He lauded the ongoing progress and innovation at the College of Engineering.
