The College of Pharmacy organized an awareness campaign on the harms of electronic cigarettes under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Sarmad Hashem Al-Khatib, as this campaign is considered within the extracurricular activities carried out by students and under the supervision of a group of teachers to carry out a campaign.
The campaign dealt with the components of electronic cigarettes, the health problems faced by their users, the most important rumors that talk about their less harmful effect than regular cigarettes, and providing steps to help quit using them.
The students expressed their interaction, interest and desire to carry out such activities that help spread health awareness among citizens, and citizens showed their response through discussion and asking questions to students.
