The College of Education for Women, in collaboration with the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, organized a celebration for the college workers on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, which falls on May 1st every year. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Assist. Prof.Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatari, along with her assistants, a select group of faculty members, and staff.
The Dean of the College opened the ceremony and extended her congratulations to the college workers, delivering her speech to the audience of the administrative staff attending the celebration of the workforce at the College of Education for Women. She wished them success and fulfillment in their professional journey, acknowledging the role of this sector in the development of the academic institution. She emphasized the necessity of continuing efforts to serve our beloved college and university.
On his part, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof.Dr. Ahmed Hashem Mohammed, mentioned during his speech that this sector has supported and contributed to the success of the plans, projects, and qualification campaigns implemented by the college in recent months. He highlighted the college’s support to ensure and achieve their entitlements, for which they have always worked, and praised the role of all employees in the success of all achievements realized through the development and rehabilitation of the college’s infrastructure and facilities.
The ceremony included the honoring of the college workers with certificates of appreciation and gratitude from the Dean of the College on their International Workers’ Day, for their diligent efforts despite the challenges of social life, in order to secure a decent life for their families and contribute to the advancement of our dear Iraq.
