The College of Education for Women organized a scientific workshop titled: “Scientific Publishing in Indexing Databases (Indicators – Tools)”, delivered by Assist.Prof.Dr. Omar Falah Hassan. The workshop aimed to strengthen the role of scientific research and elucidate the process of publication in high-impact journals indexed in databases like Scopus and Clarivate. It also focused on navigating globally recognized journals to elevate academic standards and enhance the university’s standing in international rankings through publication in such databases.
The event concluded with several recommendations, including the use of university email for research publication, reliance on academically ranked journals indexed in global databases to promote the level of scientific research, avoiding the use of agencies for research publication in databases, publishing research in international databases, and emphasizing the importance of academic collaboration among researchers.
