The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Quranic Sciences at the Faculty of Education Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences, held a training course entitled (How to write research) in which Dr. Abdul Qahar Khalaf Muhammad, Dr. Adel Ahmed Ali, Dr. Atheer Imad Nouri, Assistant Teacher Ayat Fakher Muhammad lectured.
The course aimed to show the actual practical steps of the university student in how to write the research and what it includes, as the research is the main pillar and the final image that reflects what the student learned during the years of study, as well as the goal of the research to develop the initial building blocks and basic steps for the student to start to know the writing of the master’s thesis and doctoral thesis.
The course included the presentation of the content of the research and the statement of its details in three days by standing on the research particles of the investigations and demands, how to write margins, knowing the punctuation marks, as well as how to write the full card of the source, and the statement of the introduction and conclusion of the research. The course also dealt with teaching students how to choose the appropriate topic that corresponds to their precise specialization.
The course came out with a set of recommendations, including that the student must take full time in reading and research before choosing the topic because frequent reading is a key to the success of the research, while everything else is a failure of the research. The primary student must be in close contact with the supervisor as a shadow for the supervisor to show him the clear way and the right way in how to write the research, and the graduate student needs illumination from the supervisor not as the primary student. The author of the research should pay great attention to the introduction. It is considered the main portal for his research because it contains the outline that shows the content of the research and what it includes.
