Prof. Dr. Ammar Bassem Al-Yasiri, Professor of Sharia at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, achieved an important scientific achievement by publishing his research entitled “The Dialectic of Integrative Thought and its Epistemological Role: A Contemporary Vision” in the journal “Educational Administration: Theory and practice”. This magazine is one of the world’s most reputable magazines in its field and is located within the prestigious Scopus containers.

The research aimed to address an important topic related to the dialectic of integrative thought and its role in the development of knowledge. The research stressed the importance of integration between various knowledge and sciences, including religious, cosmic, and natural knowledge, in building a solid reservoir of knowledge consistent with the changes of the modern era and its serious intellectual challenges.

The research included a number of important facts, the most important of which are: Aspects of complementarity and the components of cognitive science, as the research stressed the importance of linking various knowledge and sciences to each other, and understanding them in an integrated manner, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the world around us, and the research stressed the difficulty of realizing scientific development without understanding integrative thought, as this understanding is necessary to understand the relationships between various scientific fields.

The researcher recommended that this research be a scientific addition in the field of Islamic thought and knowledge and contribute to strengthening the position of the University of Baghdad as a leading center for scientific research. This research also shows the excellence of the teachers of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, and their keenness to contribute to the development and dissemination of knowledge.
