Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Scientific Affairs, attended a scientific discussion at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

The discussion aims to evaluate a doctoral thesis entitled (The effect of compound exercises using added resistances relative to body parts in some types of handball strength and the accuracy of far-sighted shooting from jumping high for the players of the Baghdad education team) by student Muhammad Jabbar Kazem Al-Shammari. The thesis dealt with a specific training program that was applied to a sample of handball players for a specific period of time to improve the level of physical fitness and motor skills.

Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah praised the importance of this study in the development of handball in Iraq and also made some observations and recommendations to improve it. This discussion is part of the scientific activities held by the University of Baghdad to encourage scientific research and support young researchers.
