The Strategic Planning Committee at the University of Baghdad convened a meeting with departmental directors for academic affairs, studies and planning, quality assurance, and academic performance to discuss the university’s 2025-2030 plan. This plan is centered on achieving sustainable development goals and leveraging artificial intelligence services.
The meeting aimed to devise new mechanisms for implementing the university’s strategic objectives, ensuring their approval based on performance metrics, and underscoring the importance of keeping abreast of scientific and intellectual advancements in sustainable development. Additionally, it emphasized the monitoring of regional and international reports to elevate knowledge within the university community.
During the meeting, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, the President of the University of Baghdad, noted that the university is continuously refining its strategic plan to ensure alignment with global developments and to achieve its goals in education, scientific research, and community service. He emphasized the university’s endeavor, through this plan, to strengthen its position as a leading institution nationally, regionally, and internationally in the fields of sustainable development and modern sciences.
