The College of Education for Girls, the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held the scientific workshop tagged: (The Role of the Influential Teacher), in which both the teacher Dr. Amra Abdul Hussein Mutlak and the assistant teacher Zahraa Adnan Shaker lectured.
The scientific workshop aimed to clarify the role of the influential teacher who seeks to achieve a comprehensive learning experience that includes the academic and social aspects of students and seeks to enhance deep understanding of the material instead of superficial learning or memorization only and build life skills for students such as critical thinking, problem-solving and effective communication, supporting students’ personal development, enhancing their self-confidence and abilities, working to promote positive interaction and effective communication inside and outside the classroom, and encouraging students to be interested in lifelong learning and developing their skills and knowledge continuously.
