The Educational and Psychological Research Center hosted the second Ramadan Quranic competition for male and female students of preliminary studies under the slogan (With the Qur’an we rise and on it we meet) and under the supervision of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf.
The preliminary qualifiers for male students were launched at the hall of the Educational and Psychological Research Center, numbering 22 students from various colleges of the University of Baghdad, in the presence of a committee consisting of experts in intonation, melodies, endowment, and initiation. The competition began its activities with 19 students from various colleges who competed among themselves and 10 of them qualified for the final day.
The contestants competed in reciting and reciting the Book of God under the principle of (and in that let the competitors compete) and 10 of them will qualify for the final day, which will be held on April 4 at the hall of the College of Mass Communication. The activities of the first phase were concluded by distributing gifts to the contestants to encourage them and appreciate their efforts.
