The Department of Internal Department Affairs at the University of Baghdad inaugurated one of the buildings of Al-Salam Compound for student housing on Palestine Street, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, and a number of deans of the mother university.
Al-Aboudi stressed during the opening that one of the ministry’s priorities is the restoration of the compounds of the internal departments and the establishment of new complexes, whether for the University of Baghdad or other universities, and added that with the efforts of the University of Baghdad, the internal departments and the supervisory body in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the rehabilitation of the compound has been completed and opened, pointing out that the ministry’s priority is to build or restore the internal departments.
It is noteworthy that the complex was restored and rehabilitated within a short period, by the efforts of the Department of Internal Department Affairs and the Reconstruction and Projects Unit of the Department to be ready for students in order to advance the reality of the internal department in a manner befitting students and provide all their needs.
