Today, the British QS Ranking announced the results of the subject ranking (QS BY SUBJECT), where the University of Baghdad ranked highly, in addition to maintaining its lead. The university topped the list in 6 majors: engineering, petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, and medicine. The College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad ranked 344th globally and is considered among the top 16% worldwide.

The ranking included 4 axes: academic reputation, graduates’ reputation with employers, the impact of university research, and international research cooperation. 4,989 universities worldwide competed to fulfill the classification requirements, but only 1,559 universities succeeded in appearing in this classification.

This success comes after great effort and hard work within the University of Baghdad’s plan and its commitment to developing the teaching skills of its teachers and students in research and scientific publishing and increasing cooperation with reputable universities around the world in the service of the educational process and our country, Iraq.
