On the occasion of the approaching end of the holy month of Ramadan, the Center for Educational and Psychological Research at the University of Baghdad launched an initiative (its conclusion is Misk) to distribute Eid clothing to orphan children, which was held in the hall of the Center for Financial and Accounting Studies at the university.

The Director of the Center for Educational and Psychological Research, Dr. Fadel Al-Saadi, stated that the initiative comes on the occasion of the International Day of the Orphan Child, which included the provision of a group of gifts, indicating that the number of beneficiaries of this initiative reached (75) children from the villages and countryside surrounding the capital, Baghdad.

Director of the Department of Social Protection for Women in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Attar Al-Moussawi, confirmed that the initiative included coordination between the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Education to facilitate the process of integrating children into schools and providing them with the necessary support.

The event witnessed the singing of a number of national songs that sing of love for Iraq, its history, and its future, in addition to holding a field tour for children inside the University of Baghdad to introduce them to the university’s facilities and motivate them to enter the scientific process.
