Professors and students at the University of Baghdad organized a mourning gathering to commemorate the souls of the martyrs of the tragic incident of children being run over in Basra province, expressing their full solidarity with the families of the victims.
Dr. Ali Abdulhassan, the director of the office of the President of the University of Baghdad, offered condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims in Basra, praying to Allah Almighty to have mercy on the victims, envelop them in His vast mercy and forgiveness, grant patience and solace to their families, and grant swift recovery to the injured. The Hartha area in northern Basra province witnessed a tragic traffic accident on Tuesday, resulting in the death of more than 33 students and injuring dozens.
