The College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad hosted the third edition of the “Al-Jarh Festival” in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Ali, peace be upon him. The event was attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Mudad Ajeel Hassan, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, along with government and artistic dignitaries.
The festival featured a variety of activities, including a theatrical performance portraying the tragic event, as well as a presentation of religious chants dedicated to Imam Ali, peace be upon him. Additionally, the festival showcased artistic works by several artists depicting the somber occasion.
