The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, received in his office at the University Presidency, a delegation from the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between the University of Baghdad and the Kadhimiya Holy Shrine in some fields, and the two parties discussed the possibility of opening joint cooperation horizons and organizing cultural events.
The President of the University of Baghdad stressed the importance of cooperation between Iraqi universities and religious institutions, pointing out that the University of Baghdad seeks to strengthen cooperation with all Iraqi institutions, in a way that contributes to the advancement of Iraqi society.
For his part, the head of the visiting delegation valued the role of the University of Baghdad in the field of higher education and stressed the importance of benefiting from the expertise of the University of Baghdad in developing religious and cultural work to serve the Iraqi society.
