Prof.Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs at the University of Baghdad, welcomed Dr. Suhaila Al-Sultani, a member of the Parliamentary Energy and Electricity Committee.

During the meeting, they discussed potential areas of collaboration between the University of Baghdad and the Parliamentary Energy Committee in the fields of energy, electricity, green campus initiatives, and sustainable energy. They also explored the university’s potential contribution in providing consultations and scientific studies to support the work of the Parliamentary Energy and Electricity Committee.

Prof.Dr. Amir emphasized the significance of cooperation between the university and the Parliament across various domains, particularly highlighting the university’s notable scientific and research capabilities in the field of energy and electricity.

For her part, the member of the Parliamentary Energy and Electricity Committee praised the University of Baghdad’s role in scientific research and stressed the importance of benefiting from the university’s expertise to address the challenges confronting the energy and electricity sector in Iraq.
