The Nursing College at the University of Baghdad held a ceremony to recite the medical oath for students graduating for the academic year 2023-2024. The event took place in the main hall of the college, in the presence of Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, along with the Dean of college, Prof.Dr. Wasam Jabbar Qasim, several deans from Iraqi nursing colleges, and a distinguished gathering of faculty members and esteemed guests.

During the ceremony, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, delivered an address wherein he congratulated the students on their graduation and attainment of Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing Sciences. He extended his wishes for their success, prosperity, and fulfillment in their professional and practical lives, aiming to provide the best nursing care to the community. He emphasized that they represent an elite of graduates from the University of Baghdad, which has equipped them with knowledge and expertise through four years of theoretical and practical study in educational laboratories and clinical applications.

Additionally, the Dean of the Nursing College, presented remarks expressing the college’s pride in graduating a cohort of students poised to make meaningful contributions to the nation’s development and the betterment of their communities. He underscored the college’s noble mission and highlighted the leadership role of the university presidency in advancing educational standards. He commended their ongoing efforts to support the esteemed journey of our college, which stands at the forefront of scientific and academic advancement, enriching society with a generation equipped with advanced nursing knowledge, practices, and experiences to deliver comprehensive care services.
