The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, opened the exhibition of scientific products of Iraqi universities on the grounds of the University of Baghdad, in the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, and university presidents participating in the fifty-sixth session of the Conference of the Association of Arab Universities held in the capital, Baghdad.
The Minister of Higher Education and Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Amr Ezzat Salama, was briefed on the exhibition pavilions, which included scientific innovations and patents submitted by Iraqi universities, as well as scientific publications, literature, devices, and innovative technical equipment.
During his tour of the exhibition, the Minister of Higher Education stressed the importance of developing and strengthening the research environment in Iraqi universities through cooperation with Arab universities to produce joint scientific research and invest it in supporting the requirements of the labor market, especially in medical and engineering specialties and artificial intelligence to keep pace with the indicators of the scientific and technical path in the world.
