The Head of the Department of Water Resources Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Basem Shaba Abdul Larasa, was selected by a ministerial committee affiliated with the Research and Development Department to introduce a new master’s degree in water resources engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Mustansiriya University based on his scientific competence in the field of water resources engineering and its various specializations.
The committee included college members from various Iraqi universities who enjoy a good reputation and proven scientific competence. This selection comes within the framework of enhancing and developing the quality of higher education in the field of water resources engineering and constitutes a unique opportunity for students interested in specialization to continue their studies and develop their skills in this vital field.
