In the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, and the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Assistant Professor Dr. Ithmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, the College of Education for Women held the scientific lecture tagged (Artificial Intelligence in Community Development and Building a Knowledge Economy) presented by the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Scientific and Academic Affairs for Artificial Intelligence Applications, Professor Diaa Al-Jumaili, and the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Reform Cell Affairs, Dr. Amer Al-Adad.

Professor Diaa Al-Jumaili presented his research paper on the applications of artificial intelligence, which sought to educate the teaching staff about the nature of the Industrial Revolution to prepare an academic cadre and a young generation that possesses the required skills and experiences that will contribute to raising the knowledge economy of Iraq.

The Advisor to the Prime Minister, Dr. Amer Al-Adadh, supervisor of the Reform Management Cell, delivered his scientific paper on “The House of Reform: A Unified Vision for Sustainable Development in Iraq”, in which she stressed that achieving sustainable development requires the effectiveness of all sectors, employing the smartest human resources, and opening high horizons for them, in order to reach the knowledge economy as the technical level in Iraq needs to develop the communications sector, cybersecurity, and digitization. The lecture concluded by emphasizing the development of teaching staff in the application of artificial intelligence in the academic and research fields to serve university students.
