The College of Nursing won first place in the Iraqi ranking of Iraqi governmental and private nursing colleges in the results of the Iraqi ranking of Iraqi governmental and private nursing colleges for the year 2023 as a result of developing the educational environment, measuring institutional and program performance indicators, and the scientific research track.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research relied on four axes: quality and programmatic accreditation (40%), college members (25%), students (20%), and international ranking of academic disciplines (15%) in measuring the level of institutional and programmatic performance of the scientific research track between government and private colleges.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qassem, stressed that raising the name of the College of Nursing among the Iraqi colleges of nursing at the local, regional, and global levels comes within the efforts of the Deanship of the College of Nursing and the Division of Quality Assurance and University Performance and the fruit of the college’s professors and their hard work in accomplishing the tasks assigned to them and working in a team spirit to accomplish the tasks to the fullest and as quickly as possible to raise the name of the college in local and international forums.
