Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, the President University of Baghdad, recently met with a group of Arab students studying at the university as part of the “Study in Iraq” program. The meeting aimed to assess their needs and challenges and discuss ways to enhance their academic circumstances.

Prof.Dr. Bahaa reiterated University Baghdad’s commitment to providing top-notch services to Arab students enrolled in the institution, emphasizing the necessity of exerting further efforts to improve their academic and living conditions. He extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Arab students for choosing University of Baghdad for their studies, wishing them success and excellence in their academic pursuits.

The “Study in Iraq” program offers scholarships and research opportunities to both Arab and international students seeking reputable academic qualifications at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Additionally, it supports Arab and international researchers conducting scientific or field research in Iraq or at Iraqi educational institutions. These grants are part of a governmental initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Higher Education aimed at elevating the global standing of Iraqi universities and aligning their standards with those of peer institutions in the Arab region and worldwide.
