The Institute of Genetic Engineering at the University of Baghdad received a delegation from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Saif Dawood Al-Ahmar, Dean of the Institute, and a number of professors and experts of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the field of genetic engineering and biotechnologies.
The President of the University of Baghdad stressed the importance of scientific cooperation between Iraqi and Iranian universities, stressing the need to exchange expertise and experiences in the scientific and humanitarian fields, and the need to have open and advanced relations between the mother international university and sober universities.
The President of the University of Baghdad honored the guest professors with shields of creativity in appreciation of the valuable information they provided during the lectures they presented during the session and for their continuous cooperation with the Institute of Genetic Engineering.
