The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, inspected the College of Engineering to see the progress of the educational process, follow-up of teaching and administrative staff and graduate students, and to see the recent urban development campaigns witnessed by the college, and he was received by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Diaa Jassim.

His tour included a visit to the departments of architecture and civil engineering, in which he was briefed on the halls and study laboratories, stressing the importance of the regularity of the educational process, perseverance, commitment to the lecture schedule, and follow-up of scientific vocabulary diligently, instructing to provide all kinds of support to students and teaching staff. The Rector of the University was also briefed on the final logistical preparations for the College of Engineering to host the conference of the Association of Arab Universities in its fifty-sixth session, stressing the importance of Baghdad universities to have a fingerprint in this international forum.

Ansaf pointed out that the University of Baghdad is committed to its strategy aimed at achieving scientific and academic goals, developing the levels of its scientific outputs, following the university’s productive curriculum to meet the requirements of the labor market, and developing the scientific academic aspect.
