The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, received a delegation from Iranian Food Science and Technology Research Institute led by Prof.Dr. Sayed Mohammad Ali, in the presence of Prof.Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, and Prof.Dr. Enas Khalifa Al-Sharqi, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University. The visit aimed at enhancing scientific collaboration between the university and the institute in the field of food science and technology, exchanging expertise and scientific research, and organizing joint conferences and seminars.

During the meeting, several topics of mutual interest were discussed, including the possibility of exchanging students and researchers between the university and the institute, collaborating in supervising master’s and doctoral theses, organizing joint training programs, and contributing in scientific conferences and symposiums.

The President of the University of Baghdad stressed the significance of scientific collaboration between universities and research institutions across various countries, highlighting the university’s endeavor to strengthen its ties with international universities and institutes across different scientific domains. The head of the Iranian delegation expressed delight in visiting the University of Baghdad, commending the university’s academic stature and advancements across numerous scientific fields
