The Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian Kurdistan University, represented by its Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamid Qadzadeh, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Wadud Taher Muhammad, Dean of the College of Engineering Al-Khwarizmi.
The MoU aimed to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities in various fields, including the exchange of students and college members, the implementation of joint research projects, the organization of scientific conferences and seminars, and the implementation of joint research projects in areas of common interest.
The Rector of the University of Baghdad expressed his happiness with the signing of this memorandum, stressing the importance of scientific and cultural cooperation between universities. For his part, the Rector of the University of Iranian Kurdistan stressed the importance of this memorandum in strengthening relations between the two countries and expressed his hope that this memorandum will contribute to strengthening the relationship between the two universities.
