Prof.Dr. Ghassan Hameed Abdul-Majeed, Dean of the College of Engineering, in collaboration with an international research team, has published a scientific research paper as part of the research activities at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad. The paper, titled “An empirical approach for predicting slug to pseudo-slug transition of air/water upward two-phase flow,” was published in the international journal “Experimental and Computational Multiphase Flow.

Thus, Prof.Dr. Ghassan Hameed Abdul-Majeed and his international team contribute to the development of sustainable technologies in the energy sector and addressing the challenges posed by climate change. They also enhance international cooperation for knowledge exchange, progress, and achieving sustainable development goals, including Goal 9, which promotes industry and innovation, and builds infrastructure through understanding and improving flow technology, thereby contributing to the development of the energy sector and infrastructure. Additionally, their research aids in understanding environmental impacts, thereby preparing for climate change-related challenges, aligning with Goal 13. Furthermore, their efforts align with Goal 17, which focuses on enhancing partnerships to achieve goals.
