Dr. Abdullah Dayeh Assi, a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, at the University of Baghdad, has obtained a Certificate of Registration for an industrial model titled ” A machine to convert rainwater into electrical current ” from the Ministry of Planning, Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, Directorate of Patents and Industrial Models.

The industrial model is described as a device designed to convert rainwater into electrical energy. It is constructed of transparent plastic and features a fan (impeller) with wide fins perforated in the middle to connect the fan to a small generator used for electricity generation. This setup is mounted on a 12 cm long and 10 cm wide aluminum plate attached to the box.
