The Student Activities Department organized a celebration commemorating the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The event, attended by the Assistant President for scientific Affairs at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, and the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Ali Sadiq, was held to honor Imam Ali’s legacy.
During the celebration, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah highlighted Imam Ali’s birth in the esteemed city of Mecca, near the Sacred House and the Kaaba, on the thirteenth Friday of Rajab. He emphasized Imam Ali’s unique distinction as the only person born in the Sacred House of Allah, a divine blessing signifying his elevated status and dignity. Additionally, the event featured musical performances, a vocal operetta, and artistic presentations by the children of Baghdad University’s kindergarten.
