The Assistant President for Scientific Affairs at Baghdad University, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, discussed with the directors of research and service centers at the university ways to develop the academic and service environment, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that the university’s outputs are impactful and scientifically influential across all departments.
In a speech during the meeting, Prof.Dr. Suhail mentioned several initiatives that Baghdad University is working on to enhance the scientific research system, emphasizing the importance of focusing on the recommendations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding supporting and strengthening scientific research as a priority. He also highlighted the need to develop laboratories, research centers, and university infrastructure.
The Assistant for Scientific Affairs called for the need to unite efforts from various sectors within the university to support the scientific research process, achieve role integration, increase research output, and reduce the gap between scientific research outputs and national priorities and needs.
