The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad hosted a delegation from the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the United Kingdom for the practical segment of the MRCP (Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians) exam. The examination was conducted in the presence of the Chief Examiner at the Royal College, Professor Sujon, and his accompanying delegation. The practical exam was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan, the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad.

This phase included a precise experimental testing using the latest technologies, involving a number of patients. All necessary requirements were provided to conduct the exam seamlessly. Additionally, the first part of the British Fellowship exam (MRCP) was successfully completed in collaboration with the Royal College of Physicians in London.

This success serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, faculty members, and the entire medical community involved in this endeavor to enhance collaboration with scientific experts, elevating the standard of medical education in Iraq. It represents a significant step in the right direction towards integrating global standards into curricula and consistently achieving advanced results in international rankings. The University of Baghdad aims to become an international examination center in the future, allowing Iraqi students to take exams within Iraq without the need to travel abroad.
