On the occasion of the one-hundred-and-third anniversary of the founding of the valiant Iraqi army, the Dean of the College of Mass Communication, Prof. Dr. Ammar Taher, congratulated the sons of the armed forces, the protectors of the homeland, its fortified shield, and its solid wall, on their feast. stressing that on this day, we remember the legendary epics of the men of our great army who work sincerely and courageously to protect the security of Iraq and the safety of our dear people, and are dedicated to serving the country, embodying the most wonderful meanings of redemption, heroism and sacrifice.

He also adds that we appreciate the great sacrifices made by our brave soldiers to maintain peace and stability in our country and express our great pride in their achievements and sacrifices in the fight against Daesh terrorism, without which life would not have returned to our dear homeland.

We in the family of the College of Mass Communication, renew the pledge and loyalty to Iraq. We emphasize work within our scientific and academic fields in raising the flag of the homeland at the various local, regional, and international levels. We are keen to find young media energies imbued with love for Iraq, seeking to document and preserve the gains achieved with the blood of the martyrs of the sons of the armed forces in their various types and formations.
