The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad hosted a security course organized by the Follow-up Department at the University of Baghdad under the title (Security Immunity), for Employees of the Follow-up and Security Departments in the Universities of the capital, Baghdad, under the supervision of security expert Muhammad Bakhati.

The course lasted for five consecutive days and focused on basic axes aimed at enhancing the culture and security awareness among the employees of the follow-up departments and providing appropriate solutions to improve the security environment in Iraqi universities.

The themes of the course also included a presentation of the security threats and risks facing Iraqi universities, focusing on the strategies to be taken to confront them, as well as reviewing the dangers of drugs and psychotropic substances and methods of prevention and treatment, and discussing threats to the security of facilities and ways to deal with them, in addition to promoting the concept of societal peace between university students, college members, and administrative cadres to ensure a stable security environment in the campus.
