Baghdad University has secured the first position in Iraq in the field of veterinary medicine according to the ranking of the Spanish institution SCImago. It also holds the third position in the Arab region among (54) universities and ranks third in the Middle East out of (111) universities. Globally, the university is ranked (172) out of (831) universities.
A comparative analysis of these outstanding results from 2022 to the present reveals a year of tremendous growth. While maintaining the top position in Iraq, Baghdad University has surged from 15th to 3rd place in the Arab region. Additionally, it has climbed from 28th to 3rd place in the Middle East and made a remarkable leap from 436th to 172nd place in the global ranking.
