The delegation from University of Baghdad Visited the University of Grenoble Alpes in France as part of their visit to the country.  The delegation included the dean of the College of Engineering, Prof.Dr.Ghassin Hameed abdu Almajed, the dean of College of Science, Dr.Raad Faleh Haussin, and the director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department at the University.

During the meeting, they were agreed to establish an international partnership between the two universities, aimed to festering the skills of student in undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The partnership featured by the activation of the visiting professor program and increase in the number of scholarships available for Iraqi students. The delegation emphasized the significant of focusing on common topics such as:  water resources, renewable energy, sustainable development, and projects related to the preservation of heritage and civilization.

The University of Grenoble Alpes is considered one of the prestigious universities in France, ranking an advanced position globally. The university offers a wide range of academic programs in the fields of science, engineering, humanities and medicine. Thanks to the diversity of its specializations and its academic environment, the university attracts international students from all over the world, making it an ideal destination for education and academic research. Additionally, this university serves as a key station for applying for research grants funded by the European Union within the Erasmus project.
