Within the activities of the Entrepreneurship Week activities, Assist.Prof.Dr. Afnan Mohammed Shaban conducted a panel discussion titled “Self-Marketing in the Job Market and Resume Writing.” In this session, she explained that self-marketing involves having a good understanding of the skills, talents, and capabilities one possesses. Additionally, it involves developing the skill to effectively present these diverse abilities to decision-makers, ultimately aiming to secure a job or position. Job seekers can expand their network by connecting with friends, family, and acquaintances, thereby increasing their chances of finding a suitable job.

The discussion focused on the essential steps for self-marketing, emphasizing continuous self-development through learning and reading across various fields. It highlighted the importance of working on enhancing talents and capabilities through educational courses, practical workshops, and participation in various activities. Additionally, it emphasized the realization that a person who stops evolving is lagging behind in the fast-paced and evolving life.
