The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad organized the sixteenth annual scientific conference entitled (Means of Communication and Community Issues), in the presence of Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, Rector of the University of Baghdad, Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hisham Al-Alawi, Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Prof. Dr. Yassin Al-Ithawi, Prof. Dr. Ammar Taher, Dean of the College of Mass Communication, the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayad Al-Lami, and a number of personalities, teachers and students.
The conference aimed to address the means of communication for various community issues, and also included research on the culture of digital transformation and sustainable development as well as new media and social change, and a number of researchers from inside and outside Iraq participated in the conference.
The conference also dealt with several axes related to the new communication environment, community development issues, and the treatment of various media for community issues, and a number of researchers from inside and outside Iraq participated in the conference, representing the participation of 60 Iraqi and Arab researchers, and at the end of the conference, the participants were honored by the Rector of the University of Baghdad with the university’s shield.
