The Natural History Museum Center held the Continuing Education Unit, headed by teacher Muhammad Enad Ghazwan, seminars within the curriculum of the celebration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, where the head of the Department of Insects and Invertebrates, the teacher, Dr. Zainab Alwan Alwan Makkawi, and the assistant teacher Khalida Ibrahim Hassoun, gave a panel discussion entitled (Migratory birds are victims of poaching in Iraq).

The seminar dealt with migratory birds in Iraq facing many challenges and difficulties within the Iraqi environment, where many of them are hunted, especially endangered, and these in turn affect the ecological balance and biodiversity, and the lecture aimed to raise awareness in this regard and the establishment of a volunteer team of the new generation to address and preserve them and the Iraqi environment.
