The Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Graduate Studies at the University of Baghdad witnessed a scientific lecture entitled (Promoting Leadership through Innovation and Scientific Research), delivered by the center’s teacher and member of the editorial board of the “Journal of Planning and Development”, Dr. Abdul Wahab Ahmed, within the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Baghdad.

The lecture aimed to promote the entrepreneurial culture and develop the skills necessary for innovation By taking advantage of scientific research to encourage participants to publish in international containers as a tool to develop the entrepreneurial skills necessary for success in scientific and research fields.

As part of the center’s activities in the Global Entrepreneurship Week, two real success stories were presented, the first for the human rights defender and teacher at the center, assistant teacher Zahraa Salem, who dealt with the challenges she faced since her childhood and being away from school due to the surrounding circumstances, while the engineer at the center, Amna Abdul Sattar, addressed her success story in light of the years of alienation and language challenges. It is noteworthy that the center’s two activities have embodied the challenges and determination to achieve success and integration in entrepreneurship by investing in human capabilities and skills and making an ideal impact that reflects positively on society.
