The College of Engineering Khwarizmi at the University of Baghdad organized a series of workshops, seminars, and lectures on the occasion of the International Day of Entrepreneurship, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wadood Taher, and a group of faculty members and students in the College.

Al-Khwarizmi organized a scientific lecture entitled (Success Story), in which Eng. Maryam Hazem from the Department of Biomedical Engineering lectured, through which she highlighted several axes, the most important of which are the development of personal skills, launching an initiative to qualify graduates for the labor market during my study period in the second stage, establishing a medical marketing agency and working with hospitals and medical complexes during the study period in the fifth stage, working with medical companies and international brands in the post-graduation stage.

The Department of Automated Manufacturing Engineering also organized a workshop entitled (The Latest Innovations in 3D Printing), which came within a series of activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week held by the University of Baghdad, in which Dr. Marwan Ali Salman lectured, which dealt with several topics, including the nature of three-dimensional printing and its most important types and applications within the fields of engineering and medicine and industry.

The workshop discussed the prospects of three-dimensional printing in the Iraqi labor market and the available opportunities. For entrepreneurship in this field, the study concluded that there is a lot of potential available within the labor market to embrace such advanced technologies.
