Within the activities of the third day of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the College of Engineering organized a workshop on entrepreneurship and environmental projects to confront the effects of climate change delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohamed Abdel Hamid.

The workshop included a clear explanation of environmental challenges and the effects of climate change on communities and businesses, focusing on the role of entrepreneurship in improving sustainability and reducing environmental impact, and how environmental projects can contribute to enhancing sustainability and facing environmental challenges—the success story of Eng. Mariam with a group of engineers to produce fish feed at the lowest cost and high quality. The workshop witnessed dialogue discussions on entrepreneurship to address climate challenges, with the need to focus on opportunities for entrepreneurship in the field of sustainability and environmental solutions with a positive impact.
