The head of the Team Sports Department at the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences for women, University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Nahed Mohammed Alwan, in collaboration with Dr. Ahmed Alwan Taqi, a representative from the Higher Institute for Security and Administrative Development at the Ministry of Interior, organized a scientific lecture titled “Soft Skills and Entrepreneurship.”

Dr. Ahmed reviewed personal skills, encompassing communication skills, time management, body language, self-confidence, and emotional intelligence. He elaborated on these skills, delving into thinking skills that vary in percentage depending on the individual’s thought process, whether during sleep, meals, driving, at home, or engaging in activities such as drinking tea, coffee, reading, and running. Additionally, he presented an overview of life skills, including etiquette, family communication, marriage, motivation, academic excellence, and household budgeting.

He also highlighted the most important skills in leadership and management development, including transformational, situational, challenging, adaptive, crisis, inspirational leadership, negotiation, and handling work pressures, administrative and financial corruption, and job satisfaction. This lecture contributes to achieving one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education.
