The Iraqi National Cancer Research Center at the University of Baghdad organized a series of symposiums and workshops in celebration of the World Entrepreneurship Day.The first workshop, titled “Tumor Gene Causes Malignant Cells,” was presented by Dr. Istiqrar Muslim Hadi. The second workshop, titled “The Role of Financing in Entrepreneurial Ventures,” which was delivered by Dr. Basim Mohammed Khashman. Additionally, a workshop on “Risks of Addiction on the Individual and Society” was held, which was presented by Assist. Lecturer.Zahra Adnan. The event was attended by the director of the center, Dr. Kuwakib Najmuddin, and several center staff.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the impact of addiction risks on individual health and the increased chances of cancer-related diseases. It also highlighted the negative effects of the addicted individual’s behavior, which can have broader implications for society, including economic and security deterioration, increased crime rates, and unethical behaviors within the community.

These workshops and symposiums coincide with the Global Entrepreneurship Week, held annually from November 13-19. The week features a diverse range of events, activities, conferences, and workshops with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences and fostering scientific and academic skills development.
