The College of Engineering Khwarizmi at the University of Baghdad organized a series of events for the Global Entrepreneurship Week, continuing for the second day at the Khawarizmi Engineering College. The aim was to build an advanced technological foundation that aligns with the modern era. Additionally, the Mechatronics Engineering department conducted a scientific symposium titled “The Importance of Mechatronics Engineering Department Outputs in Nation Building and Development.” The event was attended by faculty members and students, with Dr. Maher Yahya Saloom delivering the lecture.

The symposium highlights the diverse roles of mechatronics engineers, including industrial machinery development, control system setup, production process automation, robot manufacturing and programming. It emphasizes their responsibilities in overseeing labs, production lines, maintenance, problem-solving, and applying artificial intelligence techniques. Also, the biomedical engineering department organized a seminar on the significance of biomedical engineers in hospitals, addressing potential job positions and the genuine roles these engineers play within healthcare institutions.

In conclusion, the symposium concluded with a set of messages addressing professors first, then moving on to graduates, emphasizing the importance of communication to convey experiences and needs. Finally, it highlighted the significance of engaging in real partnerships with the job market through academic physicians.
