The National Cancer Research Center at the University of Baghdad organized a series of seminars and workshops on the occasion of International Entrepreneurship Day. Two workshops were organized, the first entitled (The Tumor Gene Causes Malignant Cells), which was delivered by Dr. Stabil Muslim Hadi, and the second workshop entitled (The Role of Financing in Entrepreneurial Business), which was delivered by Dr. Bassem Muhammad Khashman. A workshop entitled (The Dangers of Addiction on the Individual and Society) was also organized, which was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Set Zahraa Adnan, in the presence of Dr. Kawakeb Najm Al-Din, Director of the Center and a number of the Center’s employees.

The workshop aimed to introduce the effects of addiction risks on the deterioration of the individual’s health and increase the chances of cancer diseases, in addition to the negative impact of the behavior of the addicted individual, which is reflected in society in general in terms of the deterioration of the economic and security situation and the large number of thefts, murders and immoral behaviors in society.

These workshops and seminars coincide with the Global Entrepreneurship Week for the period from 13-19 November, which is held annually with a variety of events, activities, conferences, and workshops to exchange knowledge and experiences and develop scientific and academic skills.
