The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad launched a series of events represented by a set of activities, workshops, and seminars on the occasion of the International Day of Entrepreneurship. The College witnessed the opening of a distinguished exhibition that witnessed an exceptional gathering of college professors, researchers, and students, where a wide variety of scientific literature was displayed, professors and students presented their various scientific books in various fields of media and topics varied from media studies to new and digital media, and the exhibition embraced a distinguished group of ideas and research that reflect development and innovation in this field.

An awareness campaign was also organized under the title “Enough Inconvenience”, to reduce the phenomenon of noise in the city of Baghdad, carried out by doctoral students in the Department of Public Relations, intending to spread awareness about the dangers of noise and its negative impact on human health. Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdul Kazim, supervisor of the campaign, pointed out that “these efforts come within the field applications of sustainable development and the framework of social responsibility.”

In the same context, Prof. Ammar Taher, Dean of the College of Mass Communication, said: “We would like to express our full support and appreciation for the efforts of the team of the campaign (Enough Inconvenience) organized by doctoral students in the Department of Public Relations,” noting that “these initiatives reflect the college’s commitment to social responsibility and the effective role that the media can play in achieving positive change in society.”
